I've shot my share of grays for pot pie.
Shot a fox squirrel once by mistake. And regretted it.
They're a bit rare around here, but it was way back from any forest road.
It was low light and further away than I thought.

I so wanted one of these back in 2007. I drove 200 miles with a hoard of new parts just in case to buy an 83. The truck may have been original, but wasn't close to being as described. The doors were hacked out for 6x9s, the steering has 4 inches of freeplay, the windshield was cracked, the tail lights were cracked and the tags were expired 3 years.

None of this stuff was mentioned in our phone convo or shown clearly in the photos. I was mostly pissed about the doors and tags. The guy said it was road legal. I bought a mint 1985 from the original owner a week later.

I do i'll have to up load them some time. That one stayed mostly stock. I did add an ARB bumper, 31 BFG Muds and later Toyota truck wheels on spacers. The axle width is different and the truck came with Western Centerline style copies

 

I heard Josh wasn't as ok with Itchy sleeping with Rachel as Itchy thought and Josh took a pick ax to the truck.

I had an '86 I think it was. We used to pull my boat to this steep, muddy washed out spot on a slough. It was always rutted out from idiots in giant trucks trying to pull their boats out in 2wd. I would put that Toyota in 4lo, 1st gear, slowly let off the clutch and it would easily pull my boat out. Never touched the gas. It was alot like modern day crawl control.

 

Josh is in rehab, Rachael works at Auto Tire and Parts behind the counter and it barely pays for daycare for her 3 kids.
