As for crawlers and bouncers, got a Proline big hit Servo saver otw for the bouncer, 3S graphene batt, some bump stops, as well as a savox 2270 monster torque I got off a driver for cheap yesterday. Hopefully can have bouncer lined out and ready to do some testing this weekend! Body panels are finished for this round, just need the smaller battery more than anything.

nah its not too wide, it crawls really well, it sits real tall so shocks need some tuning. Some front brass made it climb some stuff my other trucks cant.

all in all its a great rig that really doesnt require anything out of the box to be fun.

hows the trx4 with the last round of mods? Id assume a lot more capable now?

yeah its pretty decent now. John and I took it to Oak Point last week and it did pretty good. Still not the best at side hills but much better than before!

I really would like a Capra but i really dont want to spend the money decking one out! Have to buy $150 wheels/tires/foams, and electronics... $200 motor/esc $150 servo, Micro servo for dig... $?, plus the $350 Capra kit

it really doesnt need foams dual stage foams, its a light rig, doesnt need brushless either, in fact brushed would have made life easier when assembling it. I feel you though it really adds up.

when u get weekends off u can drive mine, and see what you think. Hell i might even take an offer on it ;)

Sooooo.... I built a rock bouncer. :anonymous:
Custom built chassis from a guy out of TN. Him and his brother actually race a custom built buggy in the SXS class for the Southern Rock Racing Series in 1:1 size trucks lol. She’s running Mamba X / Holmes Hobbies 3500kv brushless combo on Axial Bomber drivetrain. Currie AR60’s axles, all VP dressings, Currie Anti Rock rear sway bar, Tekno SCT shocks, KMC Machete wheels and I cut the Pitbull Rock Beast II for custom tread pattern. Just waiting on the Servo, to arrive. Should be sometime this month. Preordered last month, so just waiting on them release it. Weighs in at just under 9lbs, “THE SHOW”.

Man, I wish that Leftern Washington wasn't so stupid as far as r/c stuff is concerned.
I found that several counties including Snohomish and King have "NO R/C ANYTHING in ANY CITY PARK" ordinances.
I have as of yet to get a straight answer why.

Yeah, we’ve been told we were allowed at places because “motorized vehicles” must stay on the road.

Honestly, I think that its a combination of the city not wanting the liability if someone might get hurt in the park.
And the fact that they can instead issue a "Special use Permit" for a nice fee of course.
Basically, it all comes down to greed.

much like regulations on drones, I can see some coming down on surface RC esp if the basher brands keep trying to build 100mph RTR rigs

Something like that lol. Play with all of em :D I got it off FB, used. Came with Hot Racing shocks, and some various brass. Also came with the Toyota body (it’s actually a 1:20 model kit.). Was more excited about the body build than the truck lol. I pinched the front and the rear and bobbed the bed. Cut up the stock deadbolt body it came with for the interior and fuel cell in the bed

I dig it! I have been debating on getting one also! But then i saw that DJI released the mavic mini for $400 so im probably about to buy that. Its also under 250 grams so you dont have to register it and a few other rules that you dont have to worry about.

Taking a trip up to Colorado for a week later this month so i think it would be sweet to take it up there...

No one locally has the SCX24 in stock now anyway. Even online it's backordered almost everywhere.
