    When- 10:00 Monday Feb 17

    Location- Newman Lake Exxon

Going to try and scout out some new back road stuff. It could be a total bust. Keeping expectations low.

What- Meet, greet, share ideas and info about trucks, off-roading, on-roading, guns, cooking, drinking, camping, gardening or whatever. Let’s leave the religion and politics at home though.

Who- Invite or bring anyone. Not many of us, if any, have ever met. So don’t be shy, just show up and if none of us like each other we won’t do it again. Driving a Tacoma not required but strongly encouraged.

I'd love to meet up with folks for some bird hunting anywhere near Couer d'Alene over Christmas. I'll be there for a week and half with the inlaws so I'll need to get away.

See everyone around 10, never been to 4WP before. Maybe I will get lucky and find some .327 Federal Magnum at Cabela's, stuff is impossible to find!

I've never been either. I hope they have one of the Smitty trailer RTTs setup. I need some ideas on getting a family of 4 comfortable in the woods. My wife is kinda an RV camper so I need to find a happy median

Looked up the trailer. I have seen similar or maybe even one of them on the road before and I can see the advantage of freeing up your truck if you need to drive somewhere and not wanting to break camp. I am still a ground camper, may always be although I have racks on my truck to put a RTT on it if I ever change my ways. I can say from some past experience that a ground tent with a lot of space, especially stand up space, is huge in making an RV camper more comfortable.

I think that’s why it’s so hard to decide. I just can’t get past the fact that a large instant up ground tent is about 20% of the price of the cheapest RTT.
