Hey I saw this on a 4-runner and I was wondering how would I take my broken antenna and make it into a CB antenna? Has anyone else done this ? Any DIY VIDEOS? And how would the ground work ??
    Thanks.

That's actually neat. But don't you have the shark fin antenna on the roof? Or maybe that's not on all models.

You're posting your question in the 3rd Gen section so I think it was assumed you had a 2016+ Tacoma ;)

Welcome to the forum. And welcome to the dumpster fire section. If you like crazy, stay a while. If that's not your game then, don't make any sudden moves, back slowly to the door and close it as fast as you can.

Research "ground plane" and SWR tuning. you might need to change your antenna mount location a few times until you get the sweet spot with <1 SWR
