The guy has attention whore deficit disorder one month it's a power stroke, the next it's a duramax, then a cummins. The guy bought a blandwich car new, hated it and gave it to a friend for free. The entire time not working, diet of hot pockets and video games. The guy pisses money down his leg.

If you can't manage money before you come into it, you won't when you do. Most likely his appetite for spending won't be cured until he's in huge debt setting up for a miserable path forward.

Most of the people around him expect him to lose his shit when he gets close zero. I don't want to be anywhere near that powder keg.

This is the dumbest thread I think I've ever read. Talk about 1st world problems Ho lee fuk.

Wahh i have enough money to buy ten trucks but I'm upset about a 500$ loss...

If you're already considering a third Tacoma in six months they've already taken you for a lot more money than 500$ bahaha.

Anyways you wanna trade in a Pro for an offroad,

    Sounds like a

The blue is beautiful. Keep it. Green is overrated. The colour of vomit, boogers, algae, and Brussels spouts.

The cement grey looks like primer and is way way way way way overdone here.

Retail therapy doesn’t work, keep the 19 Pro for a couple of years and then get what you want. The resale will still be high on the 19 in 21.

How many times have you retired?

I read twice in one sentence

I've never met anyone who likes multiples of things like you.

Keep trading trucks like you are doing and the management at the dealership is going to retire pretty happy too.

Wise choice keeping your VB Pro. Trading your flagship Pro model for a lesser OR model for a different exterior color makes zero sense financially. Trust me, we know the temptation. If Toyota offers the 2021 TRD Pro in Quicksand it would get my attention.

I'm the same with my 2018 Pro vs 2020 AG but I'm not going to take a dive off the financial deep end for incremental changes as temporally satisfying as that instant gratification would be.

OP, sorry for your loss! Now, keep the truck(s) you have, mourn the loss of your dad and get your head straight - get some counseling too! Go get your $500 back - use the fact that your dad's passing caused you emotional angst so you weren't thinking right when you entered into the negotiations for the truck.

    Good luck!

Get the new truck, and then another one if you want. This is America and you can clearly afford to do this. Better than giving the money to a therapist. This is your therapy and for you, it seems to be worth it. You're just triggering a lot of people by giving away a '19 Pro, with money on top, for a lesser trim (on paper).
