Except that there is no 4 in binary.

There are 10 kinds of people. Those that know binary, and those that do not. :)

I wonder if some of these states that are over run with deer should make it easier for non-residents to hunt if not already?

    Nice one , congrats!

I got a small buck last Saturday, so the pressures off with meat in the freezer.
Starting next Saturday, I have a full month off for vacation, so plenty off time to be in the woods.

If a sling shot or well aimed rock would take one out, I get within 20' to 30' of deer around my place. Although I have a special presence, scared a spike one summer that killed him. Worried the Game Warden wouldn't like me harvesting it, so hauled it up into the woods and dumped him. :(

Duane, in Alabama out of state hunters can buy a license across the counter at any time. The only limiting factor is that there is not as much public hunting land here as some states and management areas only allow deer and turkey hunting on certain days.

Unless you know an Alabama resident who owns enough property for hunting or has a lease, the other option would be a guided hunt.

For a long time I was a member of a hunting club which at times had 2500 acres leased.

Now what little deer hunting I do is on my sister and brother in law's land which is 130 acres.

What I like about where I live in Kalifornia is I'm only a 1/4 mile from Forest Circus roads.
We have so much public land in Plumas County, that Washington DC politicians have to vote us funds each year to offset lack of private land which can be taxed.

This little cold snap was the kick in the butt that I needed to put it on now instead of when I really need to use it.

I need to move the snow blower up to the small shed by the garage. Winter is coming.

Morning Folks. Harry and Tom, on getting ready ahead of time. A rule they told us in the early work years was "Fail to plan. plan to fail". Found it so true many times:mad::(

Nice Garage Mike. I like a garage that says "a lot of good work happens here". The JD is nice too.

    Thanks Tom.
Like everything else a garage is never big enough.
But it was the biggest I could put in that small space.

Didn’t want to put a plow on the Tacoma after my
Dakota/ plow setup frame went out.
Needed a new lawn mower so I went with the JD.
Not a really good setup for wet snow but I have friends that
    Help out.. lol

When we get enough snow, I do not plow or blow it.
I drive the truck up and down the road and we toboggan in the tracks.
And I build igloos or quinzees. I have a new grand Shelter igloo maker I cannot wait to try.
