    Guys, the components in Spiker kits are similar to Redlines, but not the same.

    Every single part in the Spiker kits is made and finished in the USA, including the premium gas struts. I was never able to get country of origin for Redline struts, but nowhere does it say Made in USA. Spiker struts do come with those words etched on.

    Our struts are custom made for us to our specifications by a supplier in Michigan who is an OEM supplier to auto manufacturers. If you look at Redline and Spiker struts side by side, you'll see that Spiker struts have beefier rods and tubes.

    The unique thing about Spiker struts is they give you the option to open your hood higher than stock, which gives you more access and lighting to your projects. Once you see that feature, you'll never settle for stock height again.

    Anyway, Redlines are no doubt great kits too, it's just that Spiker kits are equal to them in every way, cheaper, and give you the high lift option :).

    Nice, glad to hear. I dont officially start until 3pm today but all I am doing is going downtown to meet with my boss. We're going to do computer setup, verify I9 stuff and then probably go get food.
