How cold was it? And what was the weather like? Most tires are better than the stickers, but looking at what you intend upon using your truck for will give a better idea of what to put on.
    All hwy- Michelin m/s
Some off road- many great options
If super cold maybe consider dedicated winters as the best bet

All around best tire it’s probably going to be down to preference but I went with the general consensus I found on this forum which was the Falken Wildpeak AT3W

been very very happy so far

there’s some great options from Toyo and Yokohama as well as General

Also that’s a lot of emoji usage. We get it, you’re a girl, lol

Tire choice is a very personal decision. I know how corny that sounds, but folks around here debate for days on end regarding which tires are "best".
I encourage you to search for threads about tires and do some reading. I understand that it can be confusing reading some of the material, but in the long run you are gaining knowledge.

    Good luck Shyanne!

It was 6a, can’t see infront of you foggy. Truck still had mist and windows were barely see through. Very cold and the truck just slid, wasn’t even driving fast on the turn but pulled the steering wheel enough to miss a sign

Sounds like black ice due to heavy fog and below freezing temps. Honestly, only studded tires will really bite on black ice. Dedicated winter tires would be next best, but you still need to drive very slow in those conditions and avoid sudden changes in direction.

Fog doesn't stop a vehicle from turning. Snow OTOH.......yes, it's white too and does cause that if going to fast.

    The more you know..............
