    In terms of providing information and parts to individuals, how friendly are these companies?

    For example, if an individual (not authorized dealer) wanted to service their shocks, how easy is it to get parts, diagrams, and tools for each of these brands?

    :::Edit:::
    I found this on King's website.

    Yes, You can walk into King directly and speak with someone, buy parts, get you shocks rebuilt etc...

    As for Fox, they are not near us so I can not comment on that

    What about things like diagrams or torque specs? Do you know if king openly provides that info to anyone?

    I don't see why not.

    Give them a call and ask them!

    I just emailed Fox and King asking for torque specs and possibly diagrams. I'll follow up here once I get a response.

    fyi: non reservoir fox 2.5 extended need a special tool to recharge the nitrogen. Looks like I'm shipping mine to Cali since i cant get a definite answer on who can or cant do this around here. those with reservoirs use schrader valves apparently making it easier and no special tool required. if not, tool is like 400 bucks.

    Sorry for the wait. I had forgotten about this thread. Both companies Did respond and did offer information for specific shocks at my request.

    I would have preferred they have this information available in an archive but this is the next best thing.

    I've rebuilt 10-12 IFP 2.5 Fox shocks that fit your application and have refilled the N2 with nothing more than what I linked. Don't believe the hype or get sold on that garbage Fox tool that is supposed to do 2.0 aluminum coilovers and 3.0 gen 2 raptor shocks.

    Got a PN or link for this "No reservoir" tool?
