Hard Tonneau Pics and options please

What are my options for a hard cover....one that is removable, and color matched. Can be rollup if is good. and needs to be water tight. please post pics of what you use if you got. Also, where to find...

I have an ARE LSII. I have not had any leaks sine it was installed in Feb 2010. I got it at Suburban Caps on Route 17; the guys there were great. I have not taken it off yet but it looks like it would be a pain in the rear to do so. I was looking at retractables as well but didn't really like any. It came down to the ARE LSII and the Undercover. I chose the ARE because it is painted to match but I have a black truck so the Undercover would have looked OK but not as finished as the ARE. had them install a bedrug while I was there too. Sorry, no pics handy at the moment.

 

I have leer 700 since September 2009. I have no problem with it and they are colormatch and watertight. I remove it one time when loading some stuff on my truck. Make sure you mark it before remove it.

I got a Snugtop SL...color matched and you don't need to mark anything when removing... I'll post pictures after I wash and polish it...

I've had the same Leer Tonneau on my DC LB for over 5 years now and it still looks brand new. I take it off at least a half dozen times a year (hauling firewood, gravel, etc). Still works like new. I even devised a simple method for hanging it in the garage with a couple of 2x4's and some rope which I can have it off or on in about 15 minutes by myself. As long as you leave the 6 attachment points in the bed rails, you'll learn you don't have to mark where it goes.

With that said...

I'd go with an Undercover if I had the choice (no choice back in Aug 2005 because they weren't available for the 2nd Gen Tacos yet). I'd rather have a light-weight hard tonneau cover that I could just lift off rather than going through the lifting process I do now to remove it.
