This guy has been at the pound for a good while... I'm trying to tell myself I'll wait until things are more stable, but at the same time.... Things are pretty stable and I just have high standards.

See in the good old state of Indiana we don’t have the protests.

It's not super tough to do the PVC one, just some 2 or 3" pipe, a clean out bend and some caps and pipe glue. If you have a low level sensor.... Yeah I dunno bought making that work, probably short it, or don't.

Id take him. Most of the pound/shelter dogs near me are pits. So anything that isnt a pit goes fast.

Dude same, they're all pits here too. And as much as I can get along with any dog, I don't want a pit. That limits where you can live, who will watch it.....

From what I understand you would be great with a dog. If you want one you'll be able to make it work :)

After the Charlotte riots a few years back, NC made it legal to mow em over. No problems since haha.

Yeah I wouldnt want one. Especially a pound dog that you dont know the history of. Those are the most likely to go off on people for no reason. If you dont have kids and dont live near kids, Id say youd be okay. Otherwise its just too risky imo.

Just drill a hole the right size for the rubber grommet in the cleanout bend... I'll find some pics, it's easy

That's what I never understood about protests where people block streets and impede on the lives of everyday citizens. All you're succeeding in doing is pissing off the people you want to get your message across too. Makes zero sense. If you have a problem with government, protest outside a government building. Don't block off a random city street making it so people can't get into work or go where they need to go.

Would you consider a pit mix? Most are labeled as whatever the mix is

I would love a Pit but the others are right about it limiting where you live and all that. It's BS and a shame but I've already made that rant on here before so I won't do it again lol. But unfortunately it's something you have to consider when getting one.

They make up probably 90% of the dogs in our shelters too

My mom kept my pit-mix after I came back to CA from my divorce.

That dog was the sweetest pup I ever had.

They can be good in the right hands. Unfortunetly they are way overbred by people who could care less about them which may have something to do with provoking violent tendencies. Getting one from a shelter is a horrible decision, if you want one, get one from a breeder as young as you can.
