actually a TON of people who actually use their cars (go to the track). have them. they have trailers for their slicks. very common for people with reliable sports cars.

Ive always thought the same thing

well thats purely a show truck:rolleyes:
just like there are show cars, show bikes, show anything else...
look at suv's that put big ass systems in their cargo space...does that make the vehicle useless? maybe for someone else but not for the person driving it, otherwise they probably wouldnt have done it.
    Just sayin ;)

that still has more storage space than a honda civic.

and that wasnt built to haul, obviously. this trucks soul purpose was to show. its the same thing as if i were to say i hate your bull bar, chrome rims and chrome bed bar. its everyones opinion. if you dont like it, dont subscribe to the magazines, and dont look in the lowered truck sections.

x2 each to their own, hell your not paying the bills on the ride so why should you get to have a say in how it's built? Although there are the exceptions of the hack builds NO ON SHOULD GET AWAY WITH THOSE.

I like lowered trucks. They have more uses than a than a car IMO and why would you want to put a hitch on a vette?

A slammed C-10 looks awesome! Always loved the look of that pickup. I really like the early 70's models. And yes, I agree. Most slammed pickups are not used for hauling. I'm sure there are just as many lifted trucks not used for offroading as well.

i don't really care either way. but i never did understand this phenomenon. it pretty much removes all functionality from the truck like towing or even loading the bed up and forget about any type of driving that does not have asphalt under the truck. but other than these things i have seen a few that i really did think looked pretty sexy. x runners in particular there is a guy around my way with a really nice x runner really nice!
