Alright, I have been doing a lot of research and been finding good info on how to splice into the stock harness. Had some bad/good experience doing this on my e30 turbo so this time I decided to jest get a Boomslang prewired harness and avoid all the headaches.

Yes there is a lot of info on this topic but what im coming up short with is the tuning.
For those running the FIC6 did you do the tuning yourself or have a shop tune it?
Anyone willing to share with the tuning info?
Im getting my harness next week and need to tune my FIC6 for the larger injectors.
With my e30 project I was able to find a tune set up really close to my car set up and no it wasn't perfect but it was pretty good. Looking to see if I can do the same on my truck.

Or help tune mine.? here is my current set up:
    TRD supercharger 2.2 pulley
Fuel Injector: OEM Denso 23250-46050 (310cc)
Denso Iridium IK24 Spark Plug 5311 (Gapped at .043)
Walbro 190 LPH pump kit from URD

    Boomslang AEM F/IC Harness BF12106
    F/IC 6 Piggyback PN#30-1910

If you have an 02, you can tune the stock ecu. Why mess with the piggyback computers?

The harness is for 03-04. How's that gonna work with your 02? I thought the computers were different.
Not doging you. I legitimately want to know.

This is new to me, If there is a way to tune the stock ecu I need to know about this.
I thought Ive seen a thread on here that was looking into making the stock ecu tunable but it was a work in progress and service was going to cost around 700-800 to modify it.

Are these injectors plug and play?

I’m looking to do the same thing but don’t want to cut wires.

These are a plug n play but they might not be the best option for the 5vz engine.
The stock injectors are air assist. I think the better option for fuel injector would be Denso 23250-46050 (these are equipped with the air assist)
They seem to run better. Ill be ordering them today to swap out mine.

I’ll be posting pictures when they come in.

I checked out your build page. Looks like you’ve done a lot of work to your truck!

    Pretty Awesome!

I also noticed you were planning on the FIC 1910 but that appears to be out of stock

I found the FIC 1912 on Amazon

BTW-I was born in Everett and grew up in Marysville

Thanks and yea it’s been a fun process. More updates and mods to come soon so stay tuned.
As for the fic6 I went with the 1910 as it was the most recommended. I bought one off a guy locally. He didn’t even get a chance to use it. I know some guys are not wanting to run the used one but it’s not that bad. Just flash it and set up to your truck. Ame will still offer support on products that are discontinued.
And nice I actually moved up to Edmonds about 6 years back, before that was down in Puyallup and a little in tacoma but generally stay close to the area as my family is all close by. Colorado is quite aways, what made you move way out there?

Did you get your Supra injectors?

I haven’t had a chance to see if they are going to fit
