My wife would kill me lol. I'm thinking about making a long acrylic tank with a built-in filter though.

The long streak of Pete Carroll's fucked up game management continues, but they escaped with a win this time.

Why the fuck did he need a timeout right after the 2:00 minute warning in OT?:frusty::facepalm:

8-0 going for 9-0 and undisputed top of NFC West would be my guess....

But Tuesday morning quarterbacking would suggest 8-0-1 would have been the better outcome because they lost. Had they done that and taken the tie, they’d likely be getting roasted in the press and by the fans for playing it safe...

bur that’s that just conjecture and my opinion....

Shanahan isn't the best at time management...looking at you SB51...

I agree though, I think a part of it was being crucified by everyone for "copping out" when being 8-0-1 is way better than 8-1.

I'm guessing they saw something they didn't like and thought it would be disastrous. I'm more concerned with multiple dropped interceptions lol. I guess that's why they are on defense and not receivers. Actually there is a lot to be puzzled with and amazed with at the same time.

Even more concerning than the dropped interceptions are all the fumbles by the guys that already had the ball in their hands. I realize some of it was unavoidable but between Carson last week and the multiple turnovers this week we need to figure out how to hang onto the ball when we have it.

Shanahan was a Matt Ryan not getting sacked away from being a genius.

I guess hindsight is 20/20 and Shanahan has since mentioned be would have liked to run the clock to give Seattle less time but the tie would have dared better for the niners than the loss, press be damned.

It was very telling how great George kittle is with how the team was in his absence. And when sanders went down they were completely done. Not sure why there were no screens or putting Coleman out wide.

    Also, Dante Pettis stinks

*missed block by freeman to allow a sack on Matt Ryan even though they should have ran the ball three times to kick a field goal to win

I think I read like ATL had a much higher chance of winning if they just kneeled down.

Also, yeah without kittle and sanders Jimmy G seemed to be exposed a bit like Goff. Just kinda fires it under pressure without much touch to the ball. Obviously you aren't going to do well without one of the best WR and TE in the league, but you should be able to make plays happen. Jimmy G seems to be able to read defenses well and manage the game, but lacks the arm and finesse (probably due to lack of # of games started).

He doesn't lack the arm, he does lack the finesse. He's often inaccurare and gets locked in now and then so he doesn't see the defender. He's good he for a wtf int every single game. When he became starter he was successful because he wasn't asked to run a complicated offense. He was beating teams with a really quick release but other than sanders and kittle nobody knows how to get open so we've got these plays that need time to evolve and the Jimmy stutters. Im looking forward to the rematch. I think Jimmy's a good enough QB but not as good as some people want to make him out to be, he really crumbled there at the end when he tried to throw ints

Yeah I should have said finesse. Doesn't have that nice tight spiral or placement. Rematch will be great if everyone is healthy too.

He lobbed a couple of them that wobbled like they had been punted. I didn't think the 49ers game at the Clink would mean much at the beginning of the season but now it might be the game of the year, if that one wasn't already. Maybe the officials will actually call a clean game this time too, although with all the bad calls they made I think it was fairly even in the end. I have to sell my ticket to that game because I will be in Saint Martin for my honeymoon but I suppose there could be worse places to watch the game than from a bar on a Caribbean beach.

Obviously I'm a homer, but fans of neither teams saw that the calls were not consistent. They were trying hard to fuck the hawks over. Example, russ gets grabbed for like 2 seconds, escapes and gains 5 yards but they whistle the play dead and now it's a 3 and 16. Fast forward comes the play near the end zone where he's grabbed, for even longer, ifedi gets the ball and, stripped and returned for a TD. They should have called that play too if they weren't being consistent. Furthermore, he had a pretty bad facemask during that play too that wasn't called. Not saying that the Hawks don't get away with some holds or block in the back every once in while, but there was no consistency with the calls that game.

Agreed, while watching the game I felt like most of the bad calls were going against us and benefiting SF.

Trying to see it from the outside perspective I read this article and they did make a couple good points about SF getting hosed by a couple calls as well. https://boston.cbslocal.com/2019/11/12/referee-robs-49ers-seahawks-monday-night-football-overtime/

Yeah for sure. The only people I know who were saying most of the calls were against them were my hardcore niners friends. Otherwise, fans of neither teams noticed most of them heading our way. That being said that was one of the sloppiest games i've watch us play in a long time.

I mean if everyone is going to bring up refs....might as well bring up the Steelers v Hawks superbowl. I mean that is apparently the worst reffed game ever in the history of football according to Hawks fans......

just teasing (i really dont follow the NFL....just seems like Hawks fans ALWAYS complain about refs)
