Hi Everyone! Welcome to the 3RD GEN TACOMA HEADS-UP DISPLAY (HUD) information and ordering thread. I am stoked to share this with you guys. While I was at SEMA 2019 with my Vendor, this was one of the items on our list with my truck that we really wanted to test out while I was there in Vegas with them! I mentioned how I really think the Tacoma could use this Display in our truck and would love to see my Vendor’s thoughts while we were all together. They took two seconds and it was no questions in their mind. We are doing this! So people, get ready for the FIRST HUD COMING SOON!

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this Kit is to add a display unit that projects into the windshield and provides the mix between High Tech Features and Safety Features to prevent Dangerous Driving Distractions for the Toyota Tacoma. This is accomplished by having a Built-In Screening Device inside the OEM Driver’s Side Dash Panel and using the provided harness to plug into the factory wiring through the Driver’s Kick Panel Area and OBDII.

PRODUCT DETAIL:

First used in military fighter jets, the Heads-Up Display (HUD) falls somewhere between a Tech Feature and a Safety Feature. The device reduces dangerous distractions by displaying key information, such as your speed and navigation directions, directly in the Driver’s line of sight by projecting the information onto the windshield.

There is no need to Splice/Tap into your Trucks OEM Wire Harness. This New Harness is made with all brand new material including OEM Connectors, Terminals, and Wiring to go with your Trucks Wire Harness located on the 3rd Gen Tacoma on the Driver’s Side inside the Kick Panel Area and OBDII.

This thread and kit is designed for the installer or individual with an existing understanding of automotive electrical systems, along with the ability to test and connect wires for proper operation. To ease installation, we suggest that you READ THIS GUIDE before beginning your installation.
