Any opinions of Fabtech coilover kit

I am looking to replace my factory shocks. I was originally going to go with the Biltein 5100s and some new coils. I stumbled on to a Fabtech coilover kit that was in the same price range.

I am not looking for a huge lift but like the adjustability this kit has-in case I want to lift it a little later.

Any opinions? It is the Fabtech FTS2300K kit for a 1995 Tacoma 4X4.

 

depending how high you want to go. i would not crank these things all the way because your axle angles get really steep and you end up trashing axles really fast. i was having to replace mine every few months untill i lowered them. if you plan on going the full 3.5 then i'd suggest finding a drop bracket lift. also these things ride very very stiff on my truck and i think i have them cranked to 3.

so how high are you thinking you want to go?

 

^^^ the pic you have there is the fabtech basic CO lift... and it's junk. a downgrade from stock

you'd be better off going w/ some 5100's or an OME lift

the only fabtech CO worth anything is their dirt logic series... and there's much better out there than that

 

I would add that if the adjustability aspect of fabtech setup is what attracted you to it, look at some of the other brands that are available, camburg, swayaway, king, icon. These are all quality systems. I am very happy with my SAWs.

Ok I guess I will scratch the fabtechs from the list. Now on to find out what coils work best with the bilsteins.
