Rock Steady Rides in Salisbury was doing them. They apparently closed shop without much notice. I found a place called Certec Automotive in Kannapolis. Chevrolet dealer reccomend them for my service truck. They did a great job, so I tried my personal truck. Told them to get anymore forward caster possible and they did that exactly. Yeah, cab relocate is probably in my future also. Still rubbing it with normal driving in reverse only at full lock. Which I know I shouldn't be in any situation at full lock in 4wd, just dont want any rubbing personally. Which cab relocate are you going with?

I had originally wanted to go with the red goat fab. However the alpine doesn’t require drilling a new hole in the cab and seems easier to weld on.

I’m just not convinced that the alpine is a good design from an engineering standpoint. It is welded on at a pretty acute angle, so strength is a concern.

I completely agree with you on the alpine design. That's the first I've see that kit from those guys. I really do like the extra gussets. Who are you going to have install? Think I'm sold on that kit myself too

That's a lot better than the alpine although just looks like they just added the gusset to it.
I'm still a fan of the RGF even though I may be a bit biased.

I have a buddy with a shop. I’ll probably do the cutting and let him handle the welding. I’m gonna make a weekend out of completely redoing my front end.

That's exactly what I do. Cut the way I want it and have it welded. Definitely let me know how it turns out. Just this weekend of normal driving has me convinced the cab mount has got to go

Both driver and passenger contact. Pinch weld needs to get flattened some more, but that's an easy fix

Its Tray Mtn in North Georgia. Use to be 2wd friendly years ago. It's gotten a lot more heavily washed in areas. Technically it "closed" followed in a small group of jeeps and we never saw anyone else

OP how do you like the 6112's up front with the 700lb coils? What perches are you sitting on? I was going to pull the trigger on some front Kings, but since I drive 30k miles I'd rather not have to rebuild them once a year, so I will get something mid-tier for now, plus they will match my rear 5165's.

I was thinking of going with the 650lb coils versus 700lb, since Accutune had recommended a 650lb coil for Kings.

Are they smooth on the road? I'm really going for more of a Caddy like ride on the street, versus top tier off road performance.

I checked around and knew of a few locals that been up there since the storm. Signs are still posted closed at both ends of the trail :notsure: I think forestry wants people probably to stay out to keep traffic to a minimum. Its definitely not easily accessible. We tried to avoid any deep ruts and mud to avoid worsening the conditions

The 6112's we're great on/off road with 600lb coils and no armor back when I was on 285 AT's. They were and still on 5th notch (2.75" of lift roughly) with 1/4" lean Spacer on drivers. 700lb coils still feel fine with the amount of weight added and still no sway bar. My only complaint is the harsh rebound offroad which is to be expected. Still good on road manners, and smooth at highway speeds. 650lb coils might make the difference with rebound. I'd take Accutunes suggestion without a doubt. I've been back and forth with them on my next setup. Personally I'm ready for something with adjustability to accommodate what I'm doing with the truck.

kinda what I figured. I’m debating whether to get a set of Kings from Accutune or go ahead and drop the money on 5.29’s...:notsure:

My Eibach’s up front are pretty smooth so I may end up keeping those for now and doing gears first.

I hear yeah, I'm in the same boat. 5.29's will be a better initial investment. My truck is to the point its miserable. Previous trip to the mountains I pulled the 14' utility and thought I was going to kill it lol even unloaded it struggles. Big trip to Alabama for Thanksgiving and I'll be loaded down with RTT and camping gear. After that I'm pulling the 3rd and clamshell to send off to ECGS.

I have 4.30's and it's essentially no different than 3.91's with the stock tires...I think 5.29's are going to happen. I want to wait and see if ECGS does anything for Black Friday first.
