We have used coconut and almond flour alot. It's not as forgiving as flour... There is some art to it IME. With that said, almost ever recipe we used the coconut flour seemed easier to work with. It was also tastier IMO. Not as dry.

    Good to know

These flours are a lot higher in fat which is probably why the lack of dryness.

Do you guys journal and track your workouts?

A buddy of mine who is a DPT and natural bodybuilder is helping coach me a bit with my new routine I’m trying to develop (basically do a hypertrophy program like Wendler and run 50-70 miles per week). Hes recommending a journal.

I’m thinking tracking shit down to the T is going to be critical. Any of you guys do this?

Short term, yes. Knowing what you did last week it critical for applying progressive overload. I don’t keep keep journals of data across long periods of time though. I do keep mental notes of big milestones though. Like, I’ll be able to tell you a year from now that I hit a 445x3 pull in the last week of my meet prep.

It's important to track, it reallys lets you understand if you're progressing - think of it like looking into a mirror or using a scale for weight loss, but for strength in the gym. I personally don't, but I do keep mental tabs, and I know my limits. I can make any weight difficult. I pay attention to the big lifts like bench and squats when use to do them for max.

Yep. I keep a log on my phone of every lift and where I performed reps/lbs wise for that lift each week.

Welcome aboard and good job having goals! It looks like you throw your hips forward between reps on your squat-I would try to eliminate that. Also, I've had to work on it and continue to do so- set yourself up under the bar just like you were doing a squat when you are getting ready-foot position, back, hips-all of it- then when you take it off the rack simply shuffle your feet back a few inches. try to get rid of backing way out then trying to "find" your squat stance while the weight is sitting there on your back. As the weight gets heavier this will be more helpful and important. Other than that, looked good!

I think he’s wanting me to do it to track progress but also largely for injury prevention and ensuring I’m not overloading too much too quickly.
Like I need to watch adding both running volume and leg volume too much within the same week.

Is there a specific format you guys use thats makes the information easier to organize?
Tracking exercise, sets, reps, weights, miles, paces, etc can get insane.
I’m probably going to set up an excel.
