    Is it possible the radiator is too good? Like it’s cooling the water so much that it’s drawing too much heat away from the stat and it won’t open?

    also the top hose is supposed to be pressurized is it not? Maybe you’re just overthinking the top hose.

    The top hose is probably pressurized because the engine temperature is 190 degrees and there is no water movement and creating pressure and the bottom hose by the thermostat is 30 degrees I Thinking

    It did this on a day when it was 60 degrees outside and was sudden going down the highway and then when it was 20 degrees the next day, thats Colorado weather

    Something is plugged the system somehow or something is pressurizing it and getting it hot up top but is the thermostat opening? I imagine the block and coolant was warmed up enough to open the thermostat right? I don't mean a gauge reported number, I mean like old school, like you had it running for a good 20-30 mins and the thermostat should have opened. A few scenarios or possibilities we're seeing. Hard to speculate further without additional info/data. It's a great 'think outside of the normal' type of scenario, that's for sure

    I’m going to say yes the thermostat open because the temperatures when 1st started all went up
    to the 175-180 range and stay there for 5 minutes then continue to climb after 5 minutes or so resting to 190 at idle, when driving over to dealership was at 194 and it was 15 degrees outside

    They were booked yesterday even though I dropped it off and had to order a water pump if that was the problem so hopefully they

    Naw, see I like my new wheels better. :p Less rub on the pinch weld too with the OEM backspacing. Well, maybe. I'd have to go back and look at when the SPCs went in and if they had any impact on that.

    Plus, I made money from the deal at the end of the day, and it's not every mod that you can say that about! hahahahaha

    That's great to hear. Mud fling is a horrible thing. :thumbsup:

    It was another whirlwind of trips through August and September, with three more trips and 21 more nights now in the books: The Whipsaw Trail in BC, Canada, a trip with Pops to the California Sierras, and a nearly two-week adventure through Wyoming and Colorado.
