Thinking out loud here;

Wondering if I should pay the premium through Rancho Cordova to source my Auto Transmission and J Shift in the months to come for my swap or not.

Everything's tested and comes with a 6 month replacement warranty

In the meantime, going to go with Tyler's suggestion and buy a 4Runner shift lever just because.

 

are there any benefits of putting the BG engine oil treatment stuff in?

my god that is a monstrosity. I've never been on a cruise and have no interest in being on one.

Could you imagine if something that big got caught up in a huge storm out in the middle of the ocean...I doubt it could handle anything other than calm waters. Probably have a team of people on there 24/7 monitoring the weather conditions

 

i guess the loneliness of location is getting the best of me

these old trucks are not a dime a dozen like they seem to be out west
even in any kind of modification
