I hated that I was so hooked on that show back when it was around. Was legitimately good the first few seasons but then just went off the rails at some point toward the end

I was like 7 when it was popular. All I remember is some stupid smoke monster that really seemed to take the show down the drain haha.

 

ooof don't even bring up Dexter. Loved that show the first couple seasons but talk about going south...seasons 1 & 2 were brilliant. Then the writing strike happened and the show never recovered from it. 3-5 were OK but nothing like the first 2. And the last couple of seasons I think the whole world would rather just forget.

 

Lemme get this straight. You work with chemicals that can literally kill you if a drop lands on your skin, but you're scared to go over an ocean?

 

The Walking Dead too. I stopped watching after <Prominent Teen Character> died.

 

U571 is my favorite boat movie.

 

Lost was a good example of what happens when a hit TV show just starts to fly by the seat of its pants with no real map or layout of the complete story they are trying to tell. They eventually got to a point with that show where they were trying to come up with crazy new plot lines every episode just for the sake of it. By the end they couldn't tie them all together or even finish them.

 

I really like The Hunt for Red October. Sean Connery is supposed to be Russian, but you can't stop hearing his Scottish accent.

 

The new version of Hawaii 5-0 is doing that. Really outlandish plot lines. Ive lost all interest.

You'll never catch me on one of those..... Unless I'm being paid to work on it AND it's docked. AND THERE ARE NO PASSENGERS ON BOARD. Crew on board is fine
