Woke up at 4:30 and looked at my phone and it was 9 degrees with a windchill of -3...I stayed in bed. Will be in stand by 1:00. High pressure and cold temps should be pretty good hunting.

I've fought cold feet since I was a kid. I finally realized my problem, my feet sweat so much walking to the stand then when I stop they're wet and get cold. I have a pair of hunting boots and I don't tie them. It allows my feet to breathe and I rarely get cold feet anymore, it does happen but not as much.

I wear a pair of Lacrosse Alpha Burlys. Rubber boots are great but they absolutely do not breathe. Early season I'll wear a pair of thin Smart Wool socks. Now, it's a thin merino wool liner, with a heavier pair of Smart Wools. Plenty of room in the boot, just they trap all the sweat. Hell the bottom of my pant legs get damp. Looking into going back to leather/synthetic uppers Gore-tex insulated boots. My feet never got cold in my old Danners.

I wear Alpha Burlys too. I always take an extra pair of socks with me cause my feet tend to sweat when I 'm driving and just wearing tennis shoes. When I park, I change socks and throw on my boots. Usually don't have a problem with cold feet.

When I'm driving I just normally have on my Crocs. Yes, I have Crocs. And they're camo. And I love them. Seriously, I think it's age related. Never had an issue until a few years ago.

I might try a less expensive one, just to see how they fit in the boot and if they do the job.

    Me too.

Was looking at a heated vest too. Hopefully it's not this cold next year. Really hate wearing all that crap when I'm bow hunting.

I got a thumb warmer in addition to the heated hand grips and man I tell you what thats a life saver! I didnt have a thumb warmer since we bought the atv new, and I put one on my wifes atv last year, and I used it once and it ruined me. I had to get one for My atv, then we upgraded her atv from a can-am to a Yamaha and It had heated grips but no thumb warmer so I put one on hers as well. So nice to have such little things...LOL

This was the second coyote I have ever seen in my 10 years of deer hunting while hunting. My dad was 80 yards away from me and shot his at 15 yards which died right by me and mine circled around and I shot mine also at 15 yards. My first coyote and my dad's second.

They showed up here in the early 1990's and have gotten awful. I've killed 4-5 while deer hunting and missed a couple others while deer hunting. You can't kill enough of them. I need to get a call and strictly hunt them after deer season goes out.
