Man, I spent most of the day washing the vehicles, organizing the garage more, and cleaning off the driveway so we don't track as much shit in right away. This has been awesome and everything down to my jack stands are clean now!

In other great news, the Z is running strong and not marking it's territory anymore. I have to find a way to get up to Phoenix tomorrow and take it to get an alignment before I can drive it home. Gonna be a challenge with a two year old. Haha

Fancy brakes for the 4Runner got installed tonight. Fiancé should be able to continue driving like a bat out of hell safely for another 50-60k Miles. 3FAEC73E-B09D-4BDA-B84E-4CC80C22EF20.jpg

Solo adventures in remote backcountry are what keeps my sanity intact and stress low...some familiar places, but mostly exploring areas I've never been to, and I was not disappointed. Scouted some pretty sweet sites, and will definitely be going back. Some crappy iPhone pics, because I haven't processed my real camera yet...

Dude - I hope your brake job went better than mine!

Replaced the rear pads on the Sienna - needed to bleed the 120k fluid out, so I employed my 8yo to help (mistake #1)

I am not totally sure what he was doing, but i am sure he was NOT following directions, the system was full of air after he helped.

2nd attempt asked the boss to help (mistake #2) again not following directions, while yelling at me because my directions "were not clear" (pump, pump, pump, hold.....release) and she couldn't hear me. I was able to bleed some air out of the system, but not all of it with the help of my neighbor. I got about 1/2 brakes, went to Costco then lunch.

Go out and get a 3rd bottle of brake fluid and a "bleeder kit" (totally cool, has a magnetic bottle reservoir to collect the fluid) - best $10 I ever spent!

3rd attempt, have my 10yo follow directions to the letter, bleed a TON of air out and finally brakes are good to go.

Damn that sucks. Just doing pads and rotors here so no bleeding necessary. Got the fronts on last night and I’ll get to the rears this weekend. Then at some point in the next few weeks I’ll tackle the Tacoma brakes with calipers and pads which will take some bleeding. Nice thing is with the electric brake booster you just turn the key to on, have your helper hold the brakes and the booster does the rest of the work while you crack bleed screws. Just need to make sure the reservoir doesn’t go dry since it moves fluid fast.

I need to do some research but saw a sign for the great western trail between 4 peaks and sunflower this weekend. Iirc the only route up and over 4 peaks is the main road. Need to drive back up and check it out. I know the gwt has a much bigger presence in ut but could make for a fun side project once my azt journey is done

Ughh Yeah I was 30 min late too from it. That's upsetting I thought maps was saying there were accidents causing it, that's weird. I have noted a LOT more accidents on freeways as of late though within the last couple weeks... Definitely gonna keep my eyes more peeled hauling ass around here, sucks

I commute thru the heart of Sun City on my way to work, and am constantly dealing with snowbirds. This morning I ripped past a golf cart cruising down Grand Ave.
