Oh I didn't notice the calipers, I'm not the best at noticing that stuff but yeah it looks good. The actual Tacoma and how he built it up is what's got me hot and bothered

i have to now ponder why i rarely if ever see any of the other old compact trucks (Ranger S10 Sonoma Frontier Dakota and the likes) built up like Tacoma appears to be the bees knees in offroad
all i seem to see are jeeps

it may be different in other parts of the USA :notsure:

I think those other compact 90's trucks use different suspension too that wasn't as good for wheeling or garnering aftermarket support like our IFS system is

so why the heck would anybody want an SAS

this is what i found on wiki about it and IFS

This system provides many advantages over other suspension systems. For example, in solid axle suspension systems, when one wheel hits a bump, it affects both wheels. This will compromise traction, smoothness of the ride, and could also cause a dangerous wheel shimmy when moving at high speeds. With independent suspension systems, the bump primarily affects only the contacted wheel. This offers many advantages such as greater ride comfort, better traction, and safer, more stable vehicles on and off the road (Longhurst 1).

    DRIVETRAIN REPAIR & MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Vibration while driving might be a result of drivetrain vibration or the interruption in the operating positions of your drivetrain. However, it could also imply problems with an out-of-balance or under-inflated tire. At the first sign of an issue or vibrations, have your tires and drivetrains checked out by a Jensen tire & Auto qualified professional.

Always have your tires and drivetrains evaluated if you observe the following issues:

    • Transforming problems especially when making tight turns, U-turns, or auto parking
    • A low squeaking sound that intensifies with deceleration
    • Vibrations that increase with speed or take place when the car is moving at all or idling
Below are some pointers for maintaining your drivetrain:

    • Watch and keep the correct level of engine liquids
    • Avoid harsh use of your drivetrain such as hauling too heavy of a load
    • Ask a professional to inspect your CV and universal joints for lack of lube or extreme movement
    • Have us test drive your vehicle to inspect for any type of sounds or vibration happening throughout acceleration that might indicate a joint issue
    • We may also carry out tire checks, tire balancing, and tire rotation to ensure the best driving experience
