    Andrew,

I have nothing bad to say about that run. I think you and the others who helped put it together did an awesome job. We had a huge turn out, a lot of great people, and besides Gears unfortunate accident there were really no problems whatsoever. That's really good considering there was almost 50 trucks on the trail. If people think they "coulda done this better" then I think maybe they need to put the next one together and see just how hard it is. I know there's a lot of work put into one of these runs, and thanks for all the work you did. I asked a few different times if there was anything I could do to help, and I'll be more than happy to help with any future events also. Don't let a few negative people get the best of you, you did a great job putting this together Andrew. BE HAPPY DAMMIT!!! :D

    Andrew,

Did you see I threw out a 5% discount on those LED light bars for the first 5 people that order? I also have a demo bar that I could give you a little better deal on. It would look sick on that front bumper guard you have. pM me if your interested.

I know circumstances are different when you have a group of 4 or a group 42 Tacoma.

I know some guys already said similar stuff, but my thoughts:

    • start early when we have a large meet (maybe meet at 8am) and hit the trail at 9AM
    • 80% of the group should have a CB
      • if some one does not have CB, maybe two-three Tacomas can pair up to get updates when we stop. Every time we stopped I got out of the truck to get an update from Jake.
    • a group picture of everyone, not only the trucks, but a group shot of people
    • a finish line, a place we can all say good bye and take some final pictures
    • a designated lunch break, maybe 30 min
    • as I think of more suggests, I will post here
I appreciate Andrew for getting this thing started. In the thread, you included everything about this trail, the difficulty of the trail, how long the trail will be, everything we needed to know, you had listed in the thread. You also took the initiative to run the trail the day before to let us know how the trail will be (Thanks to OH-MAN and IamTacO who also did a prerun). Thanks Andrew, I appreciate the time and effort you put toward this meet.

Thanks to Taylor, Alex, and Jake for helping. Thanks for mapping out the trails and making the necessary calls to get info to do this trail. There are things I would have forgotten, but you guys had everything covered. I know you guys are frequent trail runners, and everything you did for this meet was appreciated. Thanks fellas.

    Looking forward to the next....

Andrew, don't be bothered by internet BS.
You decided to have a run, it was accepted by 50 or so trucks.
One bad accident, we learned a ton from this run and will make it better next time I am sure.
Having been involved in other automotive clubs I know how much work is involved.

Anyone that wants to show everyone how it's done stop talkin and start doin. Let's see what you can do.

Many thanks for a great effort and cosidering the large number of trucks, off road ability of the participants and trucks it went very well.
No flat tires, dead batterys or other basic mechanical problems ( Not bad Tacomas )

Once again thanks Andrew for doing the dirty work to put this on for us!!!!

Couldn't agree more, with you Steve. Being that you have been part of car clubs in the future, is there anything that you could suggest we could stream line or do different to make things go smoother? Also, would it be ok to call on you for future events to help plan or suggest ideas?

    Thanks for the feedback

    Taylor,
I would be glad to help.
I must say for a large event it went very well except for Gears accident.
    These things will happen.

Any event with people will have problems, solving them in the fastest safeest way for the group is best.
    Look forward to future runs.

Our opinions were asked for by one of your co-organizers. He is asking how things could be improved. Your taking it as something was wrong....nothing was wrong, but improvement can be had.

This was not started as a thread to bash the trail run....so don't get your panties in a bunch. Why do you have to call me a fucker? Grow up. Sheesh!

Did you need help? If so you should have asked!

Your post is the most negative in the thread?

I had some thoughts, but will not share them for fear of retribution from AZD54:jerkoff:
