My work for the day. I have some foam that's made to go over it. It's not very flexible so I'm not sure I'll try it. Also undecided if this will even make a difference.

 

I noticed a nice difference on my by just adding the sound deadening and I didn't even throw my rear seats back in there which would of course add a big layer of sound deadening as well.

 

I need to do the roof and the rear...then at some point in the way way future....the floor. Figure the roof and the rear are easier to deal with than the floor

 

Really none of it is hard, as far as gutting the interior goes. Would probably be easiest to just totally gut it and do it in a weekend. Since you have so much free time as a father and all.

 

exactly........loads of time....my son is acting like I have been gone for a month....attached to my hip right now.....can't complain too much about it.

 

Soak it up while you can. Soon they'll be like dad your stupid and have friends over and ignore you or him and his friends will annoy the crap out of you either way what he's doing now is so much better than the latter.

 

I'll be doing the roof soon too with the butyl layer + some closed cell foam.

You get wind noise what is that. I can't here it over the tires, squeaks, rattles, radio, mirror whistling, cowl vibrating, hmmmm and various other modified tacoma noises. Just need louder stereo to drown them all out.
