Tacoma won't connect to cellular network

Recently I have tried to call my contacts by voice dialing with the button on the steering column but after the voice says "calling my wife", I get a Siri voice saying "just a minute". Then she says "I'm having trouble connecting, try again later". It will never connect. Any ideas?

 

That's a phone thing, not a truck thing. The 16's don't have the ability to connect to a cell or data network directly. At least none of the ones I've been in have that ability.

Kidding. Siri doesn't work if you don't have a viable data (internet) connection. That's her error message saying there's no internet.

 

Is your cell phone with you in the truck?

 

It is a issue with the new iOS and Entune communicating. I have the same issue and the only way to fix it is to restart the radio and the phone but it only works temporarily.

 

Well that sucks. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Super annoying.
