    That came out awesome!
I want to make the "old school camper" bed platform from 80/20, but I was having a hell of a time figuring out exactly what the best parts to use would be.

For a bed use the 10 series, when you select that profile then it really narrows all the connectors and such that apply for the 10 series size. It’s about 1”. You can do 1x2 or 1x3 for the extra support areas

If your looking to replicate your drawer in CAD software the iPad would be fairly limited and probably frustrating to use. I use Fusion 360 on a laptop. It’s free for hobbists, students and small businesses. Fusion 360 allows you to design different components and then put them all together. Plus you can animate the design. Your drawer could be opened and closed within the software as a demo and export as a animated design file. You can also create a blue print file of your designs with measurement etc. You can import almost the whole McMaster-Carr parts catalog. They have a bunch of 80/20 parts and extrusions available to import into a design. As well, once you’ve built up a bunch of parts, it’s easy to import them into other designs. This would save a lot of time for future designs. It has a bit of a learning curve but there are a bunch of YouTube instruction videos. I mainly used it to design parts for 3D printing.

As an example, I built the 8020 corner brackets in fusion360 so that I could design the plugs for it.

I recently needed to make some threaded knobs to hold down items on my roof rack. I found what I needed in the mcmaster-Carr catalog, imported it. Then made a couple mods before printing them. This took about 10 min and I had the design ready to print. Once printed I glued in some 1/4” nuts and they were ready to go. Cost less than $.25 each to make. They are over $4 each at the hardware store.

That’s really cool, nice work. My laptop is a work one that’s why I was wondering there’s a decent iPad to originate drawings on

Selling these would be great! I know I'd be one of the first to buy them!

Do you have a price target for the kitchen?

@Papadave418, if you don’t mind me asking, what anchors the rear most part of the board that your kitchen mounts to?

I was contemplating doing a bedslide, but really I just want the passenger half of my bed to contain a drawer with a big ass cabinet, my fridge, and a platform to rest a burner.

    Thanks for the ideas!

Those two large bolts pass through the composite bed, and I sandwiched the bed with a washer & nut above and below to be the anchors. I adjusted the height of the bolt head so that the mounting plate is able to just barely slide under it. When I take out my gear after camping my rubber bed mat goes back in and just lays on top of the bolts that stick up about 1.5”

Oh I meant like the rear most part of the bed. I didn’t see any fasteners there

    So not this end?

The end by the tail gate is held in place by a turn buckle which keeps the mount in place to the bolts.

The end by the tailgate is what I was curious about. Still trying to picture this turnbuckle lol
