Fuck I don't wanna go to work tonight. It's cold outside and my bed is warm.

About to strap on my boots and make coffee. Nothing like coffee and a cigarette on the drive to work to start the morning.

When it freezes the road is icy which allows slippage. Plus you get more traction, so i'd use 4wd if its bad enough fosho

I'm usually good with the coffee, but a smoke in the cold air is nice

I'm quitting. Wife is where I was at last month, so now we're on par to be fully smoke-free by January

I did it 2001 (for the second time - it stuck), and justified it by saving enough every month from a pack a day, to getting a real four door crew cab F-150. Nice forest green one. Loved it. Went through 3 F-150 before discovering Tacomas.

Love the story of somebody quitting tobacco but shame it took 3 fords to find the taco. Dipped for 10 years now, married this year, have a feeling 2020 will be the last.

This'll be the 5th time for me, 1st for the wife. She's only been smoking 8 years, I've been smoking for 22 years.

2001 Tacos were "too small" for the prices they asked! My first was an 06 Second gen.

In a loss of traction situation you’re fine. When all four have good traction then we have a problem. Only if you have lockers front and rear though, open diffs are designed to account for different wheel speeds in corners. Different ratios spell trouble for anyone that plans on using 4wd though.

Hey Chris - different topic. Did you all leave a hitch on Jerry's truck? I don't remember and my picture doesn't show. Not critical. Just everything happening at once after months of nothing happening.

Started in High School with Luckies, dropped to Camel, then lights, then Merits finally Merit lights. Was working sound in a night club when I quit around 79 the first time. Went 5 years. Failed.....2001, it stuck better. Lousy, expensive habit!~

I started with Marlboro Lights, then Winston Un-filtered, then Newports, then back to Marlboro Lights, Camel Wide Lights, then Marlboro Reds till 3 years ago when I went full-time vape.

Good luck to both of you. Easier to get rid of when you have another goal other than quitting. Like "we could go out to eat once a month at a fancy place", or anything that is a more positive outcome.
I have thought about cigs ONCE since 2001.

EDIT - BTW wife still smoked (only allowed in office room or outdoor) until two years ago. Her vascular surgeon got her to quit. We couldn't.

I think there was one in the shed next to the shop. I was run out of there by non truck people. The c4 rear had an integrated hitch behind the plate so nothing was there.

I didn't see it, but will double check with Jayne. I think she'll know. Thanks much.
