Just realized you’re in Lafayette, I’ve got an assembly center in Lafayette that I buy a lot of parts for. Been there a few times.

I didn’t fast between yesterday and today (my eating schedule got screwed by my work schedule) but I put on my full tome job uniform today and it fit much better, I’m looking forward to what the next few weeks bring.

I really cannot imagine eating that much. Thats like a job.

Now is that 5,000cals/day with a 24 hour fast day in the week? Maybe you said you do even longer fasts than that

5000 minimum on training days. Will be around 3600-4000 on off days. Then I fast all day Monday.

    LOL

    That makes sense.

Do you enjoy it or feel you get any particular benefit?

I have yet to do an extended fast but I feel I need to try it out.

I do enjoy it. It really makes eating so much throughout the week easier and breaks up the cycle. Plus I always fast after my cheat day so it's nice to reset and get hungry again over the course of 24 hours.

    Here’s a fun topic. Milk.

During this cut I’ve been fairly low carb and moderate fat. I was drinking 10oz of whole milk with breakfast and before I went to bed (with whey or casein). I’ve made some adjustments to go lower fat as my cut progresses so I switched from whole milk to skim milk to cut fat. I switched to 16oz skim milk with breakfast and before bed (still with whey or casein). My carbs are the same but fat is about ~20g less now...

I’m going on week 2 of the switch and I’ve felt like shit everyday since. My vertigo came on hard and my stomach has been in knots. Yesterday during leg day I was super setting squats with sprints to the toilet.

Last night I subbed my skim milk for a dairy free/soy based egg nog and this morning I skipped my shake altogether and I feel so much better. We are leaving for a 5 day trip to Disney on Monday and I’ll be off diet for that trip so I’m going to use it as a reset and then never ever drink skim milk again in my life

I almost wonder if my Total calories per week is higher than you. I eat at least 4k a day and somedays 4500 depending if I am feeling fat or not :)

On the weekend I do an extra 3 hours fast (lol) So I have maybe 11 hours fasted from my dinner the night before to my breakfast the next day. (Not really a fast, but you get it). Normally I eat at 6am...

While my blood sugar is dumb shit high and I feel terrible there, I feel great as far as my bloat goes. I take the good with the bad. Next fast I may just shoot 3iu insulin to help with that now that I am talking about it...

I toss okra (chopped in 1/2 inch pieces) in some mild olive oil, kosher salt, and put it in for around 10 minutes on 395. Okra chips! Super good.

I used to drink skim for most my life but the wife drinks almond milk, so I just drink that now. She’s gone off the deep end and actually makes it herself now.

I’ve always wanted to know about this

Where are the nipples on an almond?
