Just depends how much you want tires to stick out and how much backspace your wheels have.

Here’s an updated pic of my 3.5 kit with 3.5” backspacing wheels and trimmed 3” fenders.

Sure, for the amount of off roading you do with your rig. :boink:

Oh stop. This is the LT bs thread. Was just poking some fun. I would suggest not being so sensitive if you’re going to hang in this thread.

I was just concerned the hot water heater might be too hot straight out the tap
Was concerned it might do more harm than good

    I’ll look into it more
    Thanks

You're worried about hot water from the tap being too hot, but you're asking about renting a steamer? :frusty: :frusty:

Too hot of water will strip the paint

steam will melt the damaged glue
I only need to get the wrap off the cab of the truck

When speaking to American wrap company they specifically suggested avoiding getting TOO HOT OF WATER
It was also suggested to me that if it’s too hot I could warp the roof or doors

and when has precaution ever hurt anyone?
    Jeez

Just adjust your water heater temp to whatever you feel comfortable with. You know you can adjust it right??.

    Honestly
    I wasn’t sure
    Not my house
So I hadn’t gone and messed with the water heater yet.

when water is too hot, it is possible, depending on your vehicle, that the paint/clearcoat can become softer with the high water heat and there is a chance to mess it up when removing vinyl

Use a steamer, or let it sit outside in the sun/heat. How long has the film been on? What brand?

That's the film rusting or rotting, not the paint/metal?
