It's a Viair block. Be warned a lot of reviews stated that the threads are not tapped correctly and was no exception. Had to chase them like a MF.

Thanks! I just wish I had a wider lens so I could center up on the truck while keeping the whole rock formation in view...

Genuine question here - no snarkiness intended:

I see a lot of people have mounts for their phones and for their iPads. What do you do with the latter? What’s the purpose of it being mounted in addition to your phones?

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Actually these knobs are for a guitar amp and made of aluminum with plastic inner structure. I trimmed out the inside and glued the OEM knobs inside of them. Yes they are bigger than the stock knobs but when you need to make a manual adjustment with winter gloves on(I live in Ontario) you are able to actually grab the knob without touching the display screen. Here is a pic of the package and the finished install.

Not gonna lie those look comical  but I feel your pain on those tiny OEM knobs.

Reasonable question. For me, I am behind the times on the phone (5c) but use it mostly for GPS, weather radar and calling/texting. Whereas, the iPad, has more storage to run music software and other apps such as GAIA, which benefits greatly from viewing on a larger screen.

Do you use the IPAD gps or secondary unit for GPS? Like the InReach?

Just phone and offline stuff on iPad. But incorporating a garmin product was sort of my thought with future setups on the dash kit.

As of right now, I’ve not much experience using GAIA software, but it looked useful for what I would be doing (trial running, truck-camping, off-grid living).

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
In the time before touchscreens, aftermarket radios had a hundred teensy little buttons, and if you had gloves on, you'd end up pressing 5 of them at the same time. While OEM units might not have the greatest sound, at least the UI was designed for the real world.

It's the Toyota app you can download when you buy a 2020. It enables you to remote start and lock etc.. It's okay to play with as long as it's free. I think they will charge $10 a month after 1 year. I won't subscribe to it if I have to pay for it. (iOS link)

Nice! I say tires first, you’d be surprised how capable the truck is and far a good set of tires will take you
