Agreed, I hate to be the buy complaining and I understand stuff happens, but the fact they refuse to even say sorry is pretty sad. Just hope no one falls out of a tree on one of these.

I don't see it as complaining. If they stood behind it you would give the credit where credit is due, which is what you did anyhow.

Pointer today Camera shows a 6 pointer and an 8

 

I'm beyond obsessed with turkeys. They do the same thing on our property. It's 100 acres of planted pines. They're there, they just like to hide during deer season. I heard one gobble on our property two weekends ago mid morning, yet to see one though. My camera says they're there as well. Got to see a few gaggles of poults as well. It's full up with thunder chickens, come on March!!!

It’s just a baby

 

Sat for 4.5 hours this morning and seen 6 does. Sat for 4.5 hours tonight and seen 1 doe, 1 spike and 2 small 8’s.

 

Always good to see them, i hate when i go out and see none

Lol 3 or 4 running around not much bigger than that . This is the problem : hunters would rather shoot that than a doe just so they can say they shot a buck . NY needs state wide antler restrictions.

 

I know our doe to buck ratio is off around here because of stuff like that. But for the most part its public land. I see a lot more does than bucks and i usually pass on the small spikes, i dont mind a big fat doe, they taste better anyhow

 

I used to hunt in a club and one of the guys would have 8 does and a 4 pt come out and he’d shoot the 4 pt and say “I got the buck”. Why man??? He’s got like thirty 4 pt racks on his outbuilding wall.

 

Good god I would be so pissed. I was in a great club with self imposed antler restrictions. Our president would've given that joker less than one chance at shooting a 4pt. GONE. Unfortunately, the deer we were hunting had terrible genetics. Only one "club legal" deer taken in 10 years before the land got sold and lease was yanked. We killed the shit out of some turkeys and coyotes though so it was a fair deal at $450 a year.
