Its the 5.3L v8? I really like that one. If so good choice. I have a friend with over 200k on his (2015, I think) 5.3 it is still going strong.

Yeah i have heard those Rams go through front end parts on a short, consistent interval and even then it still isnt perfect (from waht ive heard from many men in the oilfield who love them but hate this aspect of them).

Sorry you took a loss on it though. That is probably never fun. I have only ever owned (been on the title of) 2 automobiles because I am too money conscious to be exchanging them frequently. Ive had my 4runner now for for over 5 years and its not going anywhere anytime soon, though I am considering upgrading the front end to being the new style since htere is like 3bn times the aftermarket support for the new front end style.

And you weren’t wrong earlier. Ford does have a 5.3 in their lineup. It’s just not in these.

They had the triton 5.4 for a while too don’t think they ever had a 5.3

Edit: didn't Chevy make a 327 too? I know there early ls engines were 5.3 but since we're now talking about carbeurated engines
