@Speedytech7 Have you done one of the Z32-TT timing belt jobs? One of my buddies is looking for me to help with his over the holidays.

    Looks like a fun job.

that is probably too far away to know if there is a hidden gem in the big city of a 1st gen Tacoma specialty shop that would know a thing or two because they have seen a thing or two
    but maybe you do?

I haven't, but from what I understand once you use some cam holders while it's in TDC it's super easy. @Man of Steel TRD has done it and probably has tips

Cool.. We're on the same frequency. I used clamps like this on the 3.4L timing belt job. It sure made it easy to get some slack on the lower belt area.

I've had a dime sized knick in my windshield for a couple years now...hasn't gotten any worse yet thankfully.

Have the same. Keep telling myself to deal with it before it develops into something much worse requiring a windshield replacement. Last thing I want to hear is some glass tech telling me I have to remove the dorkel before they'll replace.

I have the LCE Conversion line set with the OEM hard lines. No real issue with clearance.

Question, why when going long travel are there really no tacos with I beams? When I look up the 5 lug front kits and they are all in the vicinity of 5 g's for the kit without shocks and most you still have to fab. ( Jd fab I think is the only bolt on kit, but 5k for it) I peek on Giant motorsports page, and the front kit for I beams is 2850 with everything needed besides shocks. Obviously a good amount of fabbing involved with it, but with 5 lugs youre likely to do that anyways as I said before. If I have this truck long enough to get to LT point (likely will lol), what would hold me back from I-beams versus other kits?

Yeah I was just gonna try that sealant/filler stuff you buy at the parts store and see if that helps keep it from spreading...I mean it hasn't spread in 2 years but if it gets hit again it very well could pretty easily.
