    Try the MAF cleaning, see if that hellos for one tank then use some SeaFoam sucked as far upstream before the MAF as you can go. Run it like that for a tank. Pull the injectors and clean them, run it for a tank.

    Maybe you'll get lucky like I did and find someone who has a crawlbox but changed their mind about installing it. Mine actually started out here in Colorado and belonged to my buddy who was going to put in his 3rd gen auto. He sold it and shipped it to PA. That guy changed his mind and sold it to a third guy, but he inherited a jeep and sold it to me. So I'm the 4th person to own this thing. Might not hurt to throw a feeler out there on the F/S threads.

    My mom has 280k on her originals in the FJ cruiser withthe 4.0 and there is no sign of them giving up anytime soon. Honestly not sure, but id say at least 250k. My 4 banger has 250k ish on the stock ones as well, although i know thats an apples and oranges type deal

    Ive never heard of them being a problem on these trucks either. I doubt thats your issue.. but if youre gonna pull everything apart already, might as well swap em and know for sure theyre good

    I’ll never understand why Toyota didn’t take all of the things they got right on the FJ and carry it over to the taco. They are solid.

    Ordered the Hurst shifter yesterday, that’ll be cool.

    I’m looking for a battery cage. I saw one with mounts for a blue sea fuse box on top but I can’t remember who makes it.
