    That is referred to as a "Hypnic Jerk" and is quite common. Happens to me frequently.

    That's the same with me...or walking up/down a set of stairs and missing a step.

    It is usually not an issue - but, I just had foot surgery a few weeks ago, and damn do those involuntary twitches cause some pain when you're trying to heal and keep your foot immobile! :eek:

    I usually just use my teeth to trim them, or use a knife to clean out the toe-jam. I opted to use some clippers before surgery to be more presentable :proposetoast:

    I knew a girl in high school who had that same surgery done to both feet at the same time she was in a wheelchair for about a month afterwards for the recovery. Unfortunate but necessary surgery
