Anyone install a trailer hitch on the front? Say for a snow blade or winch? I see they make one.

Just make you one and have it powdercoated :D

The little bracket on the right is for the winch plug, I also have a set of jumper cables that plug in it.

Those front bolt on hitches are a nice idea, but you guys go wheeling with them on..? I'd imagine they hang up on everything.

Yeah, they're not doing your approach angle any favors.

Mobtown does look good on the 2nd gen. 3rd gen.. Meh..

I had the idea to make a custom setup with hitch behind the license plate, and recovery points through the bumper.

I mean it looks OK.. But ya gotta chop up the bumper to much IMO.

My idea only cuts up the black portion of the bumper, and I think it would look great. Just move the receiver and points down. Look sooo much better and easier to access. But then again it might be to low... Just thinking out loud here.

So youd rather put a 2.5" square hile in solid material than cut a few (literally 3 for me) narrow pieces?

Huh..? I said on 2nd gen it looked good. To much chop on the 3rd gen.

Yes... Rather just chop up the black center bumper piece (easily replaced) than chop up the main portion of the bumper and bottom of the grill surround. Actually now that I look at my 3rd gen, the plastic filler piece is chopped. But still, need to notch the grill surround.

I put mine on to use for hunting. Put it in the front and it allows me to pull a trailer if need be with the back. Not much time for wheeling in my life at the moment.
