Don't own those e torx sockets or w.e. they are. The fact that I couldn't separate the axles from the diff discouraged me from attempting to get the diff as a whole.

If someone wants to go tomorrow, I'd be happy to tag along and help.

20psi, rear locker, and maxtrax in case I need them.

I've gone up the taller, steep dirt climbs; those require some throttle being a prerunner and all but I still make it :luvya:

I peeked under and what I could see, one was a torx bolt.

Like I said if someone like @Sperrunner could tag along, I'd help pull it out with another set of hands.

Well, the garage door should be a non-issue. Just when you need to open it, disengage the drive lock and open it manually. The fridge you could manage with a typical generator like many did up in the power outage areas or just suck it up an break out the camp food/stove/propane BBQ in backyard. It's totally do-able to get by for several days without power - we're just used to the creature comforts. You should already have multiple battery powered emergency lights on hand along with food and water. As for the pond, why not convert that too solar? Hell, can't be that much of a power requirement. Cheap HF panels could handle it I bet. I hear you on wanting the generator for peace of mind though.

The filtration system uses a lot of power, it's about a 1,000 gallon pond. There's two pumps, a UV light, and a skimmer.

I didn't use either of my generators last outage. Oil lamps and camping gear. Bbq for dinner. Was nice.

Honestly they are a big pain to use. Last outtage we had was just over 2 days. I charged my phone at work and hung out with friends for most of it. Camp lights at night. Just bit the bullet and cleaned out the fridge.
