    I have to agree. I’ve seen some of their photos of the 2 tone look and I’m not a fan either. Not sure if I would do the same as you did If I dropped the $1000 on it but similar for sure.

    I'm driving to Santa Cruz after thanksgiving and on to Baja after December 15.

    So, anyone on the west coast that wants to do this and can meet me on my way down I5 or in Santa Cruz with a MBM (2018/2019 black) flat hood, let me know. Open to trades or cash, seems like about $500 is the going rate for this and my truck currently has 1500 miles on it so it's pretty damn close to new.

    Some people here buying the $1000 painted hood but I don’t think they are the factory hood scoop. I will take the swap any day at least it’s original & factory.

    FWIW those group buy hoods are brand new certified aftermarket, 100% guaranteed to fit as an OEM hood would, and the hood scoop kits are OEM. 9 of 13 hoods have already been delivered and nobody has reported any fitment issues. Completely the opposite actually with great feedback. The GB price has ended though and they said won't be $995 ever again. Don't hate because you missed out.

    Hah, I spend a lot of time in your part of the country for work, but I'm always flying in. I'll see what the baggage fee for a hood would be next time I fly. Pretty sure the only landscape uglier than dead cornfields in the midwest are dried up cotton fields in central Texas.

    2018 Magnetic Gray scooped hood
    I found a non scooped hood
    I am selling the scooped hood. 15k on the truck, hood is in excellent / near mint condition.
    I have a shipping box but would prefer to meet.
    I am in Edmonton Alberta
    Update: lots of interest and offers but shipping seems to be a killer. The box is around 64” x 54” x 9” and weights is around 60-70 lbs. Probably best to stick to a local sale. I can drive to southern Alberta.
