Damn it, though I like the minimalist design, it doesn't have the ability to hold the "door/tailgate" key that's integrated into the OEM fob. That's the major reason I didn't jump on the minimalist fob, but I have patience and am thoroughly enjoying my other MESO products!

There’s a hole in the door/tailgate key when you remove the plastic (with a heat gun). The hole can be drilled out alittle bit (haven’t drilled it out yet, but plan to and will update with size bit needed) so that it can move more freely on the ring.

Sounds like I might need to just suck it up and make use of the FiL's drill press, I think this idea has more appeal than sticking a key ring on the minimalist, which sorta defeats the minimalist aspect (or at least the pocket clutter/jingling).

I used Krylon Fusion All-in-One in Matte Black. I had it for painting my headlight so I just gave it a shot. It is scraping off already so it’s not the best option

Damn it @MESO you got me...and worse of all I went to grab the spare/wife's key and have discovered she doesn't know where the fob with mini key is (if it wasn't in her purse, or other purse, or the large purse!!!!!!):annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:.

Finally told her that if she finds it:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::
    1. She saved us a couple hundred in a replacement set
    2. She will be upgraded to a purple key...aka her favorite color.

Still haven't shown her mine/what the purple one looks like (got grey and red buttons with both key sets).20191022_152450.jpg

I almost pulled the trigger on one of these a few days ago. Glad I didn't. Got both of them for the price of one :)

Just figured I'd pass along the major WOW factor and complements the minimalist fob has gotten over the last few weeks, between a family member, the dealer service guy, mechanic neighbor and the auto detail shop crew (got it fully detailed in and out yesterday ahead of the seat covers, car seat pad and carseat install next week!).

    Keep up the great work!
