2017 tacoma rear diff lock light wont stop blicking

    2017 tacoma pro trd - rear diff lock light wont stop blicking

    i have never put the car in 4hi or 4 lo, just 2wd. today all of a sudden, without even pressing the rear diff lock button, the light came on and wont stop blinking...

    any help would be appreciated.

    Under warranty? dealer. Don't give them a reason to deny you because you messed around with it. Could be as simple as a defective switch.

    only have 21000 miles on it, so it should be under warranty... its normally 3 years 36k for these type of things right?

    I’ll go with the obvious, but you did try pushing the button and turning it off, right? Just on the off chance that you bumped it on accident.

    I would read the owners manual and go through the process to engage and disengage the locker properly to see if that'll do the trick.

    If it doesn't, take it to the dealer

    If you don't have any other indicators, it looks like P17BB, P17BC or P17CC.
