2019 Formula 1 Season Paddock

saw this coming from way back. it's the grade of earth we have here. when they were constructing they had to moisten it all for workability. but when the sun bears down out here w/o rain for months, it all draws back together as it dries, and inconsistently, as that is the quality of earth we have: rocky, sandy, and huge amounts of clay chunk. no surprises, and I'll bet they knew it was coming and see it as part of the Texas personality. at least that's what they're probably telling themselves.

Did they say if it was just the bumps that caused Vettel's failure or was it a sausage curb that weakened it first then the bumps. Either way that track was looking ragged. Almost as bad as Sebring.

What a bumpy race, especially for Ferrari. They lost their speed advantage apparently. I guess we'll see at Interlagos.

HAM has 6 WDC titles now. That's historic! Bottas had a hell of drive though.

McLaren sewed up 4th in constructor's, that has to feel good after so many tough years.

Haas is only better than Williams in last place. What a shame and yet.... we'll keep both drivers. Why not.

Not possible for F1 given their logistics. Unless the pay Tesla, or some other company with "green credits" to spare, which is total BS.

 

That's good to hear. Should help ease some nerves. In 7 races for Red Bull he's scored 68 pts compared to Gasley's 63 pts in 12 races for Red Bull. Even with a few stumbles pre race he's collected himself enough to score in the top 6 every race weekend.
