Oil on my Weathertech

I just notices a few drops of oil on my drivers mat jusat to the left of the brake medal. I noticed some oil on the steering column so it must be the source. has anyone ever seen this before? the truck has around 26000miles, 42000 KM. 09 DC LB Sport

 

Blinker Fluid getting low?

My blinker fluid is yellow, if that helps...

No? You don't have blinker fluid in yours? Check under the steering wheel and toward the radio. It's back there, can't miss it.

Sure there is.


Drill the bottom of the blinker. If fluid comes out. You're good, if not, you're boned.

Drill another hole in the top and refill with your choice of blinker fluid.

Just remember to plug up the hole on the bottom before filling.

 

muffler bearing might be bad

 

Yet another reason that 1st gens are superior to 2nd gens!

 

Alright so has this happend to anyone?

 

I would not recommend taking any advice from this individual about emptying or filling anything. Ever.

WTF. Steering column leaking oil. Am I the only one?

 

It's probably just a lttle seepage from the grease on the joints in the column. Nothing to worry about...I think.

 

If you're that worried, you should just take it in.

 

You're still under warranty, right?
