I believe they're Wav files files? Not mp3? You can torrent the FLAC off most torrent sites. That's what I did..

 

Torrent is beyond my skill level. I'll have to do some digging but i thought official digital was a compressed rate.

 

From my limited amount of investigating they appear to offer a . FLAC file download. That's digitally considered "lossless", whatever that means.

If it's anything like digital images, "lossless" files are 'high res' ones that don't lose resolution or quality despite how every many times they get downloaded or saved over. Most images you might pull from the internet are going to be a low-res quality ones that will lose more quality the more times you download and save over them.

 

It's not how many times it's downloaded and saved it's what is the compression rate. When files are compressed bits of music are pulled so you go from 1400 kbps to maybe 256 kbps. Generally on shitty speakers it's not to noticable but on any decent system it will sound shitty.

The digital download gives you three options: Aflac/MP3 & FLAC.
The FLAC is 24bit/96khz sound quality. CD is 16/44.1.

Yeah I tried like hell to score those for the Indianapolis show but didn’t time it right... I did have good seats though and the show was awesome, loved the (mostly) respectful crowd not getting their phones out, made the experience that much better than the last time I seen them.

 

I sat at my PC at work and refreshed like hell for 10 minutes until 10am. They popped up and I about shit myself. They were gone in less than a minute.

On a side note, I will straight up kick someone's ass if they pull a phone out anywhere near me. I'm leaving mine in the truck. Not even gonna risk it. It means too much to me to see the whole show.

 

I would assume that would get you ejected and arrested and prevent a full veiwing

 

Was being facetious. Just wanted to drive my point home. I'll definitely be the first to tell them to put it up/cut it out. I'm not risking losing a good seat and missing a show I paid $500 for.

Headed to Memphis on Friday for another show! The Dallas show made a believer out of my brother, he just bought the entire catalog and is sending me all the FLAC files. He's considering hitting the New Orleans show.
