Louisville roll call!

i have been searching about floyd/harrison/crawford counties for places to fish. i found a couple spots on the Blue river right before it dumps into the ohio. may see if i can catch anything this week.

 

Any wheeling trips planned for September?

 

Saturday (9 21 19) at Tri County Fire Dept, Zoe Ky. Different levels of trails, guided by FD guides with "local knowledge". Trails are RRG/Slade/DBBB and more.

 

Man I wish I could make that trip however I have a local festival this weekend.

 

We do too....Bourbon Fest in Bardstown.

Gonna throw myself on the grenade and do BOTH!

 

There are 3 music festivals in a row in Louisville this month. Country, hippie/bluegrass, and metal !!!! I would accept the latter 2

 

I live in Commiskey, small town in southern Indiana, and they have a local fall fest. I wish I was able to go to the bourbon fest

 

Anyone from Louisille area that is interested in Tri-County FD ride this saturday;

Leaving Bardstown Rd/Gene Snyder area around 5:30AM. Should put us in Zoe with more than an hour to spare.

Can meet at Thorntons, just south of Snyder.

 

Any good spots to park the truck and sleep close to Louisville?

Leaving Mt Washington in 15 minutes! Headed to Tri County ride. Will be passing Thorntons (@ Snyder) at 0600

 

Back home. 15-1/2 hour day. Met another TWer. @haddix . You, Terry and me upheld the Toyota brand amongst all those jeePs. Amazing watching a Ford E350 van in woods too tight for Jeeps....I talked to him after we all got back. He was stressed out and ready to call it a day.

I'm willing to bet I need a new air filter.

Still trying to get an update on the rollover victims. We went there to "Lovers Leap" last year. That is some insane terrain.

Haven't slept since Thursday.

@Bluegrass Taco great meeting you today. Been nice to see a few more yotas out there today but great day overall with a great group of people. That e350 van impressed me over and over again today.

 

@Bluegrass Taco looks like you guys had a fun time. Wish I could have went but obligations.

Our guides must have thought they were leading a group of rock bouncers.....

We ended the day on a trail that hadn't seen much traffic recently. A few mud holes were full of silt and VERY difficult to get through. The trail we were on was not stock friendly. We spent a LOT of time winching and towing. BIG fun!

Now It's Sunday morning and I have a muddy truck to clean up.

 

I keep getting un-subed for some reason. Is there a meet-n-greet on the books yet?
