Im just putting numbers together right now. I know Im not going to like what I hear. Engines coming out regardless, just confirmed yesterday the rear main seal is leaking pretty good.

 

...in the market for a shortbed tonneau or shell on the cheap!
Need it before the end of the year, and will probably sell it soon after. Would also contemplate a loaner, but snow is heavy.

So, did Toyota not learn from the previous frame problems that mush have cost them millions of dollars/

Just got a notice from Toyota that some frames on Toyota vehicles between 2011 and 2017 may have frame corrosion perforation. These vehicles, when operated in specific cold climate areas with high road salt usage, or exposed to other environmental factors, may exhibit more-that-normal corrosion to the frame.

A couple tricky places where we spotted each other and some longer rocky sections but hella beautiful with some outstanding spots to camp. It was nice that the 120 was still open.

 

I just bought 2 of them. Well, actually 14 of them but my neighbors got the other 12. Ran up to Roseburg OR a few weeks ago on the eve of yet another threatened PSPS (or "pisspiss" as it's now known) because no place nearby had a single generator in stock.

So far so good. 1 runs a fridge, lights, TV, some small devices. 2 linked together and using the 30a outlet with an adapter can run my furnace. Eco is quiet and the fridge will run on eco which is nice.

I got two to have a wattage boost as needed, and to have a backup, and a loaner for friends.

They get great reviews so I'm not worried, but Costco takes everything back in case there is an issue.

 

Softopper? Selling my new one, black, short bed, $575. Should be able to recoup that of you use it through winter and sell it in the summer...
