Same exact lca. The white lines everyone usually uses are only designated for 4runners in the first place.

These eliminate a sleeve. One less thing to rust together.

Ok. So the bushings are toast. The bolts are frozen. That’s what’s going on. Right now I’m pretty buried at work. I mean I’m working Sundays too. I’ll try to find a video on it.

That’s what they said. The bushings are toast. That truck went through a lot. My spare is a 32 Mickey Thompson MT. So I know this was wheeled and never taken care of. At one point it was a landscape truck and carried serious weight in the back. It’s come a long long way. New rack, shocks, window trim, hood, tailgate and a whole lot more. Even with all this, it goes 90 no problem. It’s going to be my sons truck so I need it to be right.

Here's some of what I did to it.

 his lca gussets are beef too.

While I think they will definitely help especially combined with limit straps, I feel the most bullet proof solution is like @Squeaky Penguin mentioned and that’s a cross brace or some sort of downward force on the bucket itself.

Also as far as the poly bushings go, I think I’ll wait and see. I’m just happy none of my shit was seized and now I can liberally anti seize the cams and hardware.

for sure a cross bucket brace is the way to go. Could easily start with these plates though.

It drives ok actually. It goes 90. I can drove it. For a new driver, I could say it’s a little hard. It wanders a bit.

I’m pretty sure the shopped melted the fck out of my bushing on my last alignment, gonna run em till summer. If the 99 makes it that long I’ll change, if not well, fck it.

I know exactly what you mean. My 01 supercharged has all energy suspension and it’s a huge difference. On the 01 I can race an explorer, a mini van and for some reason Ford Fusion Eco Boosts and take em down. It handles nice.

At a certain point, with all the welding and grinding and painting and ... Wouldn't it be better to just cut off the OEM tower and replace it with a stouter one that is more reinforced against the frame?
