    I have a 2017 sr5 4wd Tacoma.

I put 265/70/16 inch tires on her with stock rims at lex broadies when I hit 30,000 miles 3,500 miles ago. Ever since then my truck pulls to the right and lex Brodie’s can’t get it right.

What are the alignment specs for this tire size with no added lift?
I’m new to the forum and have been searching and searching for answers.. I just took it in for the 2nd time to get it fixed and it’s still pulling to the right hard... specs for alignment are in the picture. Mahalo!!

Those numbers don't look bad enough to cause a "hard pull" it should drive ok. Ideally the camber numbers would be switched with .35 on the right and .30 on the left and caster equal on both sides. There isn't enough of difference between the specs to cause a hard pull, have they tried switching tires from side to side?

Thank you. No they have not.. But I suspect tire conicity correct? if it pulls the other way when they swap the tires its a bad tire right?

Correct,it would have been the first thing I would have checked if it drove fine before the new tires. I work for a tire shop and have seen my share of "new tires" that cause a pull after being installed.

Okay Thank you, How do you diagnose what tire is the bad apple?
Additionally do you think swaping the camber would help? also making the caster equal?

Switching the tires around will identify the bad one. Not at work so I can't say what the actual specs are but if you can get them to set the alignment at the "preferred" setting vs "in the green" you will be better off. This is what my printout screen looks like,it shows a min/max and preferred. These are specs for a 16 Tacoma 4x4 it could use some more caster but it drives fine and is quite "responsive" to steering input

Great, Thank you. So my truck pulls right, and I swap the passenger front tire to the driver side and then it pulls left then I know the front right tire is the problem?

Correct, the pull may also just go away, still confirms r/f is the problem ;)

    Can you clarify on r/f?

Great thank you so much for all the info..

One more question I promise its my last one.:)
Would there be any visible indication on the r/f ?

I read about the "cone factor" but visibly I can't tell.

First thing im doing at the shop in the morning is having them swap the front tires and then driving it my self.

    Big Mahalos From Hawaii!

No you won't be able to see anything on the tire. Good luck,I hope it helps to solve your problem.

If it is tire conicity is the answer to put a new tire that's 3500 miles newer?
tires look basically new.. but still wondering
'Cant believe I have another question -_-'

If the problem is fixed, and it’s the tire.. no need to get it replaced. However the manufacturer will likely replace it under warranty

I Read wavering opinions about if I should change it or not.. Tire could be more prone to popping? I hope it fixes my pull to the right but a new tire would be nice. maybe ill put the bad tire as my spare because I'm still running the stock spare. Gosh I hope its this simple! and my alignment is good like

Looks to me like your rear end is whack... Rear toe looks typical for a Tacoma.
    But that rear camber, tho...

What happens when you put a tire on the right from the left is that it rolls in the opposite direction. That should counter act the conicity problem. There is no reason to return the tire. BTW, they are called wheels, not rims. The rim is a part of the wheel. :D
