All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Ummm Redfish tacos... and the secret sauce lol.
Have a blast brutha and enjoy that bday!

I'm off work 22 - 31, so I'm down for a ride. It's past camping season for me though, too cold.

This is the perfect time for camping! Just make sure you have firewood ha. But with kids that's a different story

5yo and 2yo kids here. On the plus side, both of them love wheeling. This time of year I just need to make sure base camp at the end of the day is either the house or the travel trailer to stay warm enough.
Before kids though, some cheap whiskey and a campfire was hard to beat.

That won't work for long - electric heat takes a LOT of power so that wouldn't last the night. I'd be more likely to get one of those little Mr Buddy heaters. It's still not worth the hassle though, especially for the 2 year old.

My truck will go anywhere. I was thinking Windrock or Nemo tunnel, but both are 3+ hours away, so I'd rather go to those in the Spring when I can bring the travel trailer and make a weekend of it. I'm curious to try Beasely Knob, but it sounds a bit intense. May be better without kids. I did Charlies creek twice this year. I saw AOP, Coppinger's Cove, Sheeps Wallow all mentioned earlier, any of those? I'm thinking out loud at this point, I have no preference as long as it's not just gravel forest service roads.

I'm down to hike, but Noah gives up on life and pretends he's dead at around 3 miles in, and Oliver weighs more than the average 4 year old (and I have to carry his dense ass), so short mild hikes are best.

I like free trails. @TRDridgerunner and I were talking about doing Sheeps Wallow. I could be down for that.

Nemo is on the list, but I don't want to drive that far for a day trip. About as far for a day trip as I would want to do would be Hurricane Creek or Chestnut Mountain Road.

Hurricane creek is high on my to do list. I’d be up for tagging along pending date y’all decide. I’ve ventured all over the N. GA FSR’s and haven’t come across anything really challenging as of yet. A few spots on Blue Ridge WMA could pose a challenge pending rain but that’s about it.

Looking like it'll be the 25th before I'd be trail ready up that way so I'll likely catch you guys another time.

By the way @CowboyTaco definitely keep me in the loop if you end up panning a Nemo trip. We'd definitely like to be a part of that!

    I'm in!

I think that was part of the Red Clay Rally a few years back, I recognize the entrance. Here's a link for anyone wanting to come with: https://chevyoverlander.com/hurricane-creek/
